  Adele Bradley Sponsorship Program

Application Form

The Adele Bradley Sponsorship Program was presented and approved at the Annual Board Meeting held June 21, 2010. Adele began serving on The New Hampshire Mental Health Counseling Board in the capacity of Chair of Publications Committee around 1998 and has remained on the Board until 2010. In her twelve years on the Board, Adele has served selflessly in various roles which include:

  • Co-Chair of Membership Committee
  • Chair of Publications Committee
  • President Elect
  • President
  • Past President
  • Advisor to Current President

Adele is no different than then rest of us with an exceptionally busy schedule filled with commitments, interests, pursuits and loves. However, she has always been deeply committed to the mission of the NH Mental Health Counselors Association and its continued success. So much so, she has sacrificed her personal time and energy to stay on the Board an additional two years as an Advisor to the incoming president for which I am eternally grateful. Adele has offered advice, support and oftentimes been a sounding board as needed. I recall one of our meetings Adele stating, "If one is not part of the solution, one is part of the problem". At the risk of overextending herself, Adele has always been the first to be a part of the solution.

How best do we acknowledge and honor someone deeply committed to the success of NHMHCA while insuring longevity of our profession? Let me tell you, by creating a means for all newly graduated mental health counselors the opportunity to be part of the organization that represents and supports them through their careers. This is how the Adele Bradley Sponsorship Program was born.

In honor of Adele, NHMHCA has approved the Adele Bradley Sponsorship Program which is open to any newly graduated mental health counselor in need of financial assistance to maintain membership in the organization while establishing themselves professionally. This will be granted based on need and available finances of NHMHCA. Sponsorship will be funded by selling chances at all workshops/annual meeting to win gift certificates to local restaurants/businesses. So PLEASE, support the organization that supports YOU throughout your career as a mental health counselor by purchasing chances or making a donation to support our future.
