This presentation will first provide a broad overview of Personality Disorders, including their diagnostic criteria and etiology theories. We will then focus specifically on Antisocial Disorder and why it may be prevalent in the substance use disorder field. We’ll specifically cover the neurobiology that supports the behaviors and the science behind them. The learner will come away with a practical understanding of these disorders and some basic tools to utilize in the clinical setting.

Gain insight and awareness of why these disorders are prevalent in the SUD population.
Learn practical tools and skills to work this population.
